In the last few years, many bands have not only depended on their income from "traditional" ways such as concerts fees and records sales. In this digital world, everything is possible! Digital music that provides by Itunes for instance or the most popular digital music in Indonesia which is Ring Back Tone or NSP or many other names depend on the cellular operator.
For people who is not living in Indonesia, this might be new or something that un-familiar. OK, please lemme try to explain: when you call someone in Indonesia to their mobile phone, you will heard a 30 seconds of song while you wait for the phone to be picked up by your friend, so instead of listen to the waiting tone that: tuut...tuuut...it's better listen to a song right? there's a rumour; the song on someone's mobile phone is describe the person's music taste...what do you think? One day, a friend of mine from Swiss called me while he was in Bali. That time he was just arrived from Swiss. I ask him; what do you think about the song on my mobile phone when you are wait for me to pick up your call? He reply; oh it's a song? I thought it was your answering machine...hahahaha..welcome to Indonesia bro!

Psychofun, the band that started in Klungkung, east side of Bali in 1997. Just release their 3rd album, under the tittle; Cerita Dunia which mean "story of the world" in English. According to the singer's interview in a radio station in Denpasar, they choose that title not just because there's a song called like that in the album, but also the tittle Cerita Dunia represent all of the songs in the album itself.

“Cerita Dunia”,Album Ketiga Psychofun
PSYCHOFUN Psychofun band pop punk asal Bali yang terbentuk sejak tahun 1997 ini, akhirnya berhasil mengeluarkan album nya yang ke 3 dengan title:”Cerita Dunia”.4 tahun bukanlah jarak yang pendek, mengingat album ke 2 Psychofun di rilis tahun 2004 oleh Electrohell Records. Karena mengalami banyak perubahan baik itu dari perubahan personil, idealisme bermusik, juga arrangement musik, ternyata cukup menyita waktu yang panjang bagi Psychofun untuk mengeluarkan album ke 3 ini. Dengan judul single yang sama dengan title albumnya,yaitu Cerita Dunia, Psychofun berusaha memberikan angin segar di blantika musik indie bali khususnya dan Indonesia pada umumnya. Terdengar cukup menyegarkan, karena dalam album ini Psychofun mencoba untuk mencampur adukan beberapa genre genre musik,seperti Punk Rock,Metal,Alternative,Pop,Indie Rock,Power Pop,dan lain lain.
Karena ingin tetap berada di jalur indie, Psychofun memutuskan untuk memproduseri albumnya sendiri, tanpa terikat dengan record label lain. Di dalam album Cerita Dunia ini, berisikan 15 track yang 2 diantaranya berformat acoustic, Track List Album Sebagai Berikut : Mendadak Metal(intro), When The Sun Goes Down, Cerita Dunia, Sesal, You Never Know, Radio, Untuk Sahabat, Glory, Rasa, Take Me Away, Jangan Menyerah, Semu, Pulau Surga,Terbang, Aura(outro). Berbeda dengan album sebelumnya,Album ini mayoritas berbahasa Indonesia , dengan arrangement yang jauh berbeda dari album sebelumnya.
Psychofun yang pada awal mulanya terdiri dari 4 orang personil, kini akhirnya digawangi oleh 6 orang personil, dengan personil tetap: Gapz (voc), Gung De (gtr/keyboard/voc), Tonki (gtr/voc), Adjie (bass), Metal (drum/percussion), Dj Wiwin (Dj/synth/sampler).
Berusaha untuk tetap eksis di jalurnya, dan dalam rangka promo album “Cerita Dunia”, Psychofun akan mengadakan launching album dan promo tour yang akan kami beritakan dalam waktu dekat ini.
